This work includes troubleshooting, installation, networking, Internet and email, general advice and routine maintenance. I have worked for over seven hundred clients since I set up CompuTech in 1989 (see my client list here). My fees for computer support are £26 per hour, and there is no call-out charge or VAT. The only other possible charge, which would be exceptional, is where I might charge for travelling expenses (but probably not time) if your site is far away or perhaps difficult to get to (remember, I normally cover just Bristol, South Wales and the South West).
